LET'S GET REACQUAINTED

We're back from the wilderness, cracked heads reassembled and new tunes tucked under our arms--and we'll be airing several of them as part of an excellent bill at Brooklyn's The Rock Shop Friday June 19.

The lineup is a veritable buffet of indie and electronic goodness--we'll share the stage with the effusive electropop of old friends The Mystic Underground, the dystopian disco of The Kolour Kult, and the shimmering guitars of Richey Rose (who we last caught opening for Manic Street Preachers alongside Jennie Vee).

Taking a break from sessions for the next LP for some extracurriculars in the coming months, first being manning the decks at the 9th anniversary of the East Village's eclectic electronic cabaret, SPLICE.

Experimental live performances courtesy of Daughter Vision, SPLICE co-founder I, Synthesist, and Exaltron--bookending and between the acts we'll be spinning the gamut, from electronic pioneers to soundtracks to woozy synthpop to left-field techno. Sunday 5.31, 8pm, no cover, 21+.

Check out our previous set from SPLICE last October, an immersive 1.5 hour trip featuring a wide range of sounds and artists, including Ennio Morricone, Zola Jesus, Wendy Carlos, Grails, and Plastikman.

**UPDATE: Due to the weather-induced, punishing kiss of Avenue A's curb to Peter’s forehead, we’re sorry to say our appearance Tuesday night at The Bowery Electric has been postponed. (Rest assured the arched eyebrow has been spared.) Our sincere apologies, and we’ll keep you posted on a new date.**

Beat back the chill with us Tuesday February 24th, when we return to The Bowery Electric in New York City for a return engagement (and our first of the year).

This time out we're accompanied by the sultry sonic experimentalism of SPLICE veterans Glitch Cake, who weave mesmerizing sonic webs out of soulful vocals, electronics, and live drums and bass.

For the tactile amongst you, we'll have copies of the Strange Arrangements gatefold CD with us for sale--in the event you've already bought your copy, rest assured that it's Peter's birthday that week and substitute offerings of libations will be warmly received.
